This document summarizes the key terms of our Training Agreement. The full agreement will be provided and must be signed before training begins.
Our services include professional consultation and instruction covering canine behavior, handling techniques, basic commands, and behavior modification. Specific training goals are determined during an initial evaluation.
We will provide a training schedule, but we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions if the client is tardy, absent, or does not adhere to the agreement. Sessions may also be rescheduled if the dog is ill or injured, with a veterinarian's clearance required to resume.
Clients are responsible for providing a safe environment, following trainer instructions, and reinforcing training at home. The success of training is highly dependent on the client's cooperation.
You represent and warrant that your dog's vaccinations are current and that they have not been exposed to major illnesses. You must inform us of any health conditions. You are solely responsible for all costs associated with veterinary care, should it be needed.
A 50% deposit of the total training fee is required upon signing the agreement. The remaining balance is due upon completion of 50% of the training sessions.
If you terminate the agreement before the first session, a refund will be issued minus a $75 administrative fee and an evaluation fee ($50 for on-site, $100 for off-site). No refunds are provided for purchased equipment or for any training fees once the first session is completed. All training sessions must be completed within 90 days of the agreement date, after which no refunds or credits will be provided.
Dog training involves inherent risks. Normal effects may include weight loss, appetite changes, scrapes, or hair loss. You release and hold harmless Weston Dog Training Academy from all liability relating to training, including injury, illness, loss, or death of the dog.
You agree to indemnify us against all costs, damages, and claims arising from your dog's behavior. Our liability for any loss is limited to the fair-market value of a comparable dog. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages.
We may photograph or video record you and your dog for promotional use on social media and our website, without including your full name. All such media is the property of Weston Dog Training Academy.
This Agreement shall be governed by Florida law, and any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of Broward County, Florida.
